Berenson added that the findings are important because research into the efficacy of drugs like sildenafil and tadalafil in treating ED is ongoing, not just to improve the drug’s benefits. “Viagra is a good drug because it is an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction,” Berenson said. “However, it is not an aphrodisiac in the same way that some of the other erectile dysfunction drugs may be,” he added.
